The Bangladesh women’s team is ready for the World Cup. The team has been hit by Covid. Out of which one player and two members of the support staff have tested positive for the virus. This has been disclosed by a BCB official.

“One cricketer and two officials have been found corona positive. Right now they are in isolation. And after that, after eight days we have to have a test again. And only if they come back negative will they be able to fly to New Zealand. BCB women’s wing president Nadel Chowdhury told Cricbuzz on Thursday (February 3).
On Wednesday, the BCB took a precaution and included wicketkeeper-batsman Nuzhat Tasnia in the national women’s team as a traveling reserve. The 25-year-old is also the second traveling reserve player along with Shanjeeda Akhtar Maghala.
