IND vs AFG ODI Series: In Mumbai, after the Apex Council meeting on Friday, July 7, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah announced the India national cricket team and the Afghanistan national team. The schedule of the upcoming ODI series between the cricket team has been confirmed. The three-match ODI series between India and Afghanistan was scheduled for June 2023. However, it was reportedly postponed following a mutual agreement between the ACB and the BCCI. Three matches were to be played between June 23 and June 30.

The three-match ODI series between India and Afghanistan will be held in January 2024
However, according to a PTI report, Jay Shah told reporters after the Apex Council meeting that the three-match ODI series between India and Afghanistan will take place in January 2024. Shah said that the series against Afghanistan will hold in January. In this way, it will no longer happen before the World Cup, which runs from October 5 to November 19.

India will play three ODIs against Australia before the World Cup (September) and will play five T20 Internationals against them after this mega event. The new media rights agreement will start with the ODI against Australia. The previous media rights were for 2018 to 2023.
Indian men’s and women’s teams will be sent to Hangzhou Asian Games. He said that there will be no difference between the A team and B team. Shah said, “We will participate in the Asian Games. The Apex Council has approved the participation of our men’s and women’s teams.
