Bangladesh are batting for New Zealand as Ben Sears. Bangladesh opting to bat in their second T20I against New Zealand, made two changes to their XI after losing the first match of the series a few days back.
New Zealand brought on teardown Ben Sears of the Wellington Firebirds and Hamish Bennett. They came in for Blair Tickner and Jacob Duffy. There was no room for big-hitting Finn Allen. Who has recently recovered from a covid-19 bout and joined the team ahead of the second game of the series.
The hosts would be buoyed by their seven-wicket win in the opener in which they bowled out New Zealand for 60. the lowest T20I by any team against Bangladesh. This gave them a 1–0 finish in the five-match series.
