MS Dhoni is Out of top-10 in Terms of Salary

England’s young all-rounder Sam Karen auction sold the most for Rs 18.5 crore. He was bought by Punjab Kings. He has also become the most expensive player in the history of T20 league. Talking about the current season of T20 league, CSK captain MS Dhoni has dropped out of the top-10 in terms of salary.

Australia’s young all-rounder Cameron Green was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 17.5 crore. Mumbai has won the T20 league title the maximum number of times, but the team’s performance in IPL 2022 was very poor. She was at the bottom 10th position in the table.

17 Crores to Lucknow Super Giants Captain KL Rahul

Apart from this, KL Rahul, the captain of Lucknow Super Giants, will get Rs 17 crore, Ben Stokes of Chennai Super Kings Rs 16.25 crore, while Lucknow’s wicket-keeper batsman Nicholas Pooran will get Rs 16 crore in IPL 2023.

16 crores to Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma, 16 crores to CSK’s Ravindra Jadeja, 15 crores to Virat Kohli, 15 crores to Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan from Gujarat while captain Hardik Pandya will also get Rs 15 crores.

MS Dhoni, who won CSK the IPL title 4 times, is jointly at number 17 in terms of overall salary in 2023. Rs 12 crore will be received from the team. This is believed to be the last IPL of 41-year-old Dhoni.

If we talk about the highest earning player in the history of IPL, then Mahendra Singh Dhoni is overall second in this. He has so far received around Rs 177 crore as salary. Whereas Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma is on top with around Rs 179 crore. Virat Kohli occupies the third position with 173 crores.
