However, CCTV cameras, batteries for generators for lighting the stadium and fiber cables for CCTV cameras, among other things, were reportedly stolen from Gaddafi Stadium. The value of the stolen items is more than 10 lakh Pakistani rupees. According to local media, the officials of the Gaddafi Stadium have lodged a complaint of theft with the Gulberg police station.
There is already a rift between the Pakistan Cricket Board and the interim Punjab (Pakistan) government. In such a situation, the theft in the stadium has put the Pakistan Super League in a difficult situation.
