New Delhi, Online Desk. Sussex Cricket on Thursday signed Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara for the Country Championship and Royal London One Day Cup competition. Pujara included as a replacement for Australian batsman Travis Head. He asked the club to terminate his contract. He attributed this to his growing international contract and his upcoming child.

Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara after being signed by Sussex Cricket said “I am excited. And honored to be part of the historic Sussex County Cricket Club for the coming season. I will be joining the Sussex family very soon.”

“Over the years I’ve always enjoyed my time playing county cricket in the UK. So looking forward to a new stint. And I hope to contribute to the club’s success.”

On this occasion, an official statement issued by Sussex Cricket Club saying that we welcome an experienced international top-order batsman to the team.
