New Delhi, Online Desk. Wriddhiman Saha, the wicket-keeper batsman of the Indian cricket team, has been kept out of the Test team to be played against Sri Lanka. Just after the team selection, an interview of Saha surfaced in which he accused Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid of advising him to retire. Rahul Dravid replied about this after the last match of the T20 series against West Indies.

“I don’t get hurt at all. I have a lot of respect for him for his achievement and the contribution he has made to Indian cricket. The conversation I have with him is from a place where he needs a clear and honest decision. I didn’t want him to hear this from the media.”

Rahul Dravid says that whatever kind of talk is there, I keep doing it with my players

Rahul Dravid further said, “I keep doing this kind of talk with my players. I am not at all sad about it because I do not expect them to like my every message or not. Agree with him. It does not mean that you will avoid such talk or do not do such things at all.”

“Even now when we select the playing XI, we talk to all the players who are not picked. It is very common for players to be depressed at one point of time. I just feel that my Everything in this team has to be clean and that’s what reward and that’s what we were trying to do.”

“We have only three Test matches this year and Rishabh Pant, who has established himself well in the team, is now looking to develop another young wicketkeeper. It is not because of Saha’s contribution and his contribution. The respect and feeling I have for myself will change.”
