CPL 2021: Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Trinbago Knight Riders

Defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders are set to lock horns with Guyana Amazon Warriors in the first match of the 2021 CPL. The game will be played at Warner Park in Basseterre, St Kitts. The Knights have retained Kieron Pollard as their skipper.
Trinbago Knight Riders have the strongest squad on paper. TKR was the strongest team in the field from start to finish. They won each of their 12 matches to clinch the CPL 2020 title. TKR has seen Dwayne Bravo depart but Colin Munro along with skipper Kieron Pollard. Tim Seifert and Denesh Ramdin are available to strengthen the batting. Sunil Narine, Akil Hossain, and Zayden Seals will lead the bowling attack. With Yasir Shah being added. Defending champions will remain favorites even if there is no home advantage as in the previous season.
