IPL 2023: AB de Villiers visits Chinnaswamy Stadium to relive the memories. Former South African captain AB de Villiers has returned to the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

AB made his last appearance in RCB in 2021. He visited the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday to relive his memories with RCB after making a stellar return to the franchise.

In a video that has gone viral on Twitter, the South African can be seen walking on the boundary rope at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The new role hasn’t been officially clarified yet:-
While de Villiers’ new role is yet to be officially clarified, he is expected to help the management build the team ahead of the IPL 2023 mini-auction.
Popularly known as Mr 360°E, the player was a part of the Bangalore franchise from 2011 to 2021. In this period, however, RCB were deprived of the IPL trophy.
De Villiers was involved with leading batsmen like Kohli and Gayle:-
He was involved in match-winning partnerships with prominent batsmen like Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle.
De Villiers will bring his experience of 184 matches to the lucrative tournament where he has scored 5162 runs at an average of around 40 with a strike rate of 151.69.

His experience will come in handy for players and management which includes a brilliant cricket strategist in the form of Mike Hesson as their Director of Cricket.
