Cricketer Kidnapped: Afghan cricketer Fareed Ahmed escaped from the clutches of hostages. Afghanistan Cricket Team player Farid Malik’s life was threatened, he was kidnapped in his own house.

Thieves entered Khan’s house with the intention of looting:-

Thieves entered the house of Afghan cricketer Fareed Khan with the intention of looting. He also had weapons. Thankfully, he was saved safely.

According to the news, the anti-terrorist police of Nangarhar foiled the plan of the robbers. Police arrested 6 criminals.

Malik managed to escape from the clutches of the thieves:-

A journalist from Afghanistan wrote in tweeting – Afghanistan team’s left-arm fast bowler Farid Malik was successful in getting out of the clutches of thieves. The criminals had planned a robbery with weapons.

However, it is not yet confirming whether the cricketer Malik was taking hostage or the police only foiled the plan made by the criminals.

Opposition to Taliban’s decision in Afghanistan:-

The Taliban recently announced a ban on women and girls, education, employment and playing cricket.

After which the Australian Cricket Board has decided to cancel the ODI series with Afghanistan.
