IND vs ENG 3rd Test Series 2024: After Shreyas Iyer’s injury, the door to playing 11 may open for Sarfaraz Khan. The Indian team suffered another big setback before the third test match.
Shreyas Iyer is facing the problem of back injury and stiffness in his back. Due to this Iyer is facing a lot of trouble even while batting.
After which now Shreyas Iyer is in danger of being out of the remaining matches of the series. If Shreyas Iyer is out of the remaining matches of the series, then Sarfaraz Khan can be included in the playing eleven.

According to the report of Indian Express, Shreyas Iyer will now have to undergo a rehab process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Shreyas Iyer had not been able to do much in this series till now but there was some strength due to his presence in the middle order.
