Ambati Rayudu joins Baroda team and says goodbye to Andhra Pradesh team
Ambati Rayudu will be seen playing for Baroda in the upcoming domestic season. The Andhra Pradesh team has also given a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Rayudu. Even though Rayudu has played only white-ball cricket in the last few years, he is available to play in all formats for the Baroda team. Even before this, Rayudu played for the Baroda team from 2012 to 2014. In recent years, Rayudu has played for Hyderabad, Andhra, and Vidarbha. The arrival of Rayudu will give a lot of strength to Baroda’s batting order. Baroda team management is also trying to bring Deepak Hooda back and Ambati Rayudu joins Baroda team.
Deepak left the Baroda team in the year 2020. It is believed that all was not going well between the then captain Krunal Pandya and Deepak. After this, Deepak also performed well while playing for the Rajasthan team. Although Deepak has been a member of the Indian team since February of this year and he is being selected continuously in various series. Apart from this, Deepak was also selected in the team of Lucknow Super Giants, where he was playing with Krunal & Ambati Rayudu joins Baroda team.
Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) chief executive Shishir Hattangadi said
“As far as I know, they have settled their differences. They played together for the same IPL team and excelled. Whatever the problem was between them, they have resolved it. However, we are looking forward to Hooda’s return. We can’t say for sure whether he will come to the team or not because that’s when Deepak needed a team. Rajasthan had given him a place in their team. We are making an effort from our side to get him back on the team.
