Anand Mahindra Gifts THAR SUVs To Six Indian Cricketers After Win In Australia:

Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group on Saturday announced that he will be gifting the all new SUVs to six young members of Team India following the recent remarkable Test series win in Brisbane earlier this week.

Mahindra will be gifting the new THAR SUVs at his personal expense to Md Siraj, Navdeep Saini, S Thakur, T Natarajan, W Sundar and S Gill, he announced on Twitter.

Youngsters like Md Siraj, T Natarajan, Shardul Thakur, W Sundar, Shubman Gill and Navdeep Saini, proved their mettle on the tour of Australia, and played a huge role in India’s 2-1 Test victory.

Siraj ended up taking a five wicket-haul in the match and was India’s highest wicket-taker in the series with 13 wickets.

His contribution helped India become the first team in 32 years to beat Australia in a Test in Brisbane.

This is not the first time, Mahindra has made such a gesture towards sportspersons. He had gifted an TUV 300 to Kidambi Srikanth after winning a Super Series Title in 2017.

Shardul and Washington played a key role with both the bat and ball in the final Test in Brisbane as India ended Australia’s 32-year-old unbeaten run at the Gabba.

Both players with their 123-run stand for the seventh wicket, broke a 32-year-old record for India in Test cricket.
