Ashwin Calls Former Cricketer Who Criticized His Action On Twitter
Indian cricket team’s veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has made a phone calls to former cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, who criticized his action on Twitter, and sought his advice.
Former Cricketer Shiv Tweeted About Ashwin’s Action:-
Ashwin has been replaced in the World Cup 2023 team in place of Axar Patel. Former Indian cricketer Shiv had tweeted about Ashwin’s action.

Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has posted on Twitter that R Ashwin had called him on the phone and he has also asked for advice.
The former cricketer wrote “Ravi Ashwin was so nice that he called me a while ago to discuss his bowling action, he was as surprised by the venom of the trolls as I was.
Also clarified that the people involved in this are not connected to him in any way. Good luck. Make us proud.”
Sivaramakrishnan Had Said This Before Ashwin’s Call:-
Sivaramakrishnan wrote on Twitter “This picture has gone viral on social media. Enlarge the image and you will see that his non-bowling arm and upper body is exposed towards the off side.
If you see, his lower body is closed. This leads to a lack of synchronization. “Ash needs to immediately correct this to make it more effective.”
Ashwin Replaced Axar Patel:-
In the ICC World Cup 2023, BCCI ignored R Ashwin and gave a chance to Axar Patel. Because Axar could do brilliantly with both bat and ball.
But Axar was ruled out of the mega event due to injury, after which BCCI included R Ashwin in the squad.
