Asia Cup 2022: Sri Lanka Cricket has refused to host the Asia Cup 2022 T20 cricket. Sri Lanka Cricket has given this information to the Asia Cricket Council (ACC) on Wednesday. He said that due to economic and political reasons, he is not in a position to host the T20 Asia Cup.

The third edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) has also been postponed due to the economic crisis. According to ACC sources, Sri Lanka has said that the situation here is very bad. It is not in a position to host such a big tournament of six teams.
Asia Cup 2022: SLC Ready to organize the tournament in any other country :-
Sri Lanka Cricket said that they are ready to organize this tournament in any country. Before the T20 World Cup, the ACC can make a big announcement in the next few days regarding the Asia Cup to held in August-September this year. According to ACC sources, India or the United Arab Emirates (UAE) may get a chance to host the tournament.

The chances of the tournament taking place in India are high, as the ACC and Sri Lanka Cricket will have to talk to the Emirates Cricket Board officials and get their final approval to organize the tournament.
