Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan cricket got angry after the hosting of Asia Cup was snatched, it is not yet clear where the Asia Cup 2023 will be held, but it will be shifted from Pakistan, it is sure.

Sri Lanka has also proposed to prepare in a short period for hosting the Asia Cup. After this the PCB has also gone berserk.
Now Pakistan has refused to go to Sri Lanka and play ODI series (Sri Lanka vs Pakistan ODI 2023).
BCCI does not want to send its team to Pakistan:-
There are 6 countries playing in the Asia Cup, including Nepal. Pakistan is the host of Asia Cup but BCCI does not want to send its team to Pakistan.
The reason behind this is the situation in Pakistan, the atmosphere of insecurity there and the bad relations between the countries these days. ICC Chief Jai Shah has made it clear that the Asia Cup will be held outside Pakistan.
Earlier, UAE’s name had come up for this, but due to excessive heat there, the option of another country is being looked at. Now the name of the country Sri Lanka is at the forefront, where the Asia Cup can be organized.
Sri Lanka gave the proposal, after which Pakistan got angry:-
Sri Lanka Cricket Board has offered to host the Asia Cup, it wants to host the event.
Earlier, the PCB had also given a proposal, in which it was said that except the matches of Team India, all the matches should be held in Pakistan and the matches of Team India can be held in any other country.
However, moving from one match to another is not easy for everyone, so this model is also not being considered. Now there is every possibility that the Asia Cup will be held in Sri Lanka.
Don’t want to play ODI series in Sri Lanka next month:-
This has also soured between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, perhaps this is the reason why Pakistan does not want to go to Sri Lanka next month to play the ODI series.
Under the next WTC cycle, Pakistan has to go to Sri Lanka to play 2 Test matches. Sri Lanka had proposed to Pakistan that they should also play ODI series on this tour.
According to the report, PCB had earlier asked to consider this proposal but now it has refused to play the ODI series.
