Asia Cup India Squad: KL Rahul gave a big update on his fitness, Rahul posted a tweet on Saturday evening, in which he has given a big update about his return to the Indian team.
Out of the Indian team since March:-
Rahul (KL Rahul fitness) has been out of the Indian team since last March, as he was facing injury along with his health, so he was kept away from the game.

At the same time, it is expected that this player can make a comeback in the Asia Cup 2022. Let us tell you that Rahul was not included in the squad of the Indian team for the Zimbabwe tour of Zimbabwe.
After missing out on the team for the Zimbabwe tour, Rahul wrote, “Just wanted to clarify a few things about my health and fitness.
I had successful surgery in June, and I began training with the hope of returning to national duty for the team’s tour of the West Indies.
Unfortunately, as I was close to being fully fit, I tested positive for COVID-19. This naturally pushes things back a few weeks.
But I have to recover as soon as possible and be available for selection as soon as possible. It is the highest honor to represent the Indian team, and I can’t wait to be back there.”
Zimbabwe is out on tour:-
Vice-captain KL Rahul’s return from a back injury was further curtailed as the 30-year-old missed out on his fourth consecutive series. Rahul hasn’t played for India since March.
When he was set to play in the T20I against West Indies. A COVID-19 positive test ruled him out of action.
Rahul’s continued absence is a matter of concern for Rahul Dravid with the Asia Cup 2022 and the T20 World Cup on the horizon.
Rahul can return for Asia Cup:-
After missing out on the series against West Indies. KL Rahul was to be named captain. And lead the team as India takes on Zimbabwe in three ODIs next month.
It has been one hell of an injury for KL Rahul in the last 12 months. And the Indian opener had gone to Germany to undergo surgery for a sports hernia.
He had since resumed training at the NCA and had to undergo a fitness test before flying to the Caribbean.
However, as per luck, the 30-year-old tested positive for COVID-19 and had to enter isolation. Now it will be interesting to see whether Rahul makes a comeback to the Indian team for the Asia Cup T20.
