Asian Games 2023: Pakistan’s women’s team announced for Asian Games Pakistan has announced a 15-member women’s team for the Asian Games 2022 to be held in Hangzhou, China.

Veteran batsman Bismah Maroof is not participating in it. On the other hand, Nida Dar is going to lead the team in this multi-sport tournament.

Due to their impressive performances in the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup and the Emerging Women’s Team Asia Cup, left-arm spinner Anusha Nasir and right-arm batsman Shawal Zulfikar have earned maiden call-ups to Pakistan’s senior women’s team.

Pakistani women have won gold medals in the last two editions, which were held in China in 2010 and South Korea in 2014.

She will aim for a hat trick when she competes in the upcoming event, which is scheduled to take place from September 19 to 26.

Pakistan team will play quarter-final directly

As per the ICC (International Cricket Council) T20I rankings and tournament rules, the Pakistan women’s team will be competing in the quarter-final commencing event, which is scheduling for September 22-24.

The semi-finals will be playing on 25 September and the final will be played on 26 September. There will also be a bronze medal match on September 26.
