IND vs AUS 1st Test 2023: Australian captain said- Spin is fine but we cannot forget our fast bowlers. Australian captain Pat Cummins said on Saturday that his team is not thinking too much about the spin combination.
He has plenty of options to help veteran off-spinner Nathan Lyon for the four-Test series (India vs Australia Test Series) starting against India in Nagpur from Thursday.

The Australian team touring India has included finger-spinner Ashton Agar along with Mitchell Swepson to support Lyon.
Talking to the media for the first time after arriving in India, Cummins told reporters, “When Mitchell Starc returns, we have got a lot of options of finger and wrist spin and left-arm fast bowling.”
He said, “Obviously we will select such bowlers whom we feel will take 20 wickets. But we are not 100% sure about how many spinners and how many fast bowlers we will pick in this.
Asked about the inclusion of two spinners in the team, Cummins said, “Definitely it will depend on the circumstances.”
Especially in the first test. We will see when we reach Nagpur. ”The Australian team will train here before leaving for Nagpur on Monday.
He said, “The good thing is that a player like Agar was in our last team, Swepson has played in the last two overseas tours so there is a bit of experience. (Todd) Murphy (off-spinner) played in the last tour.
We feel we have enough players in this department to help Lyon. Cummins (29 years old) also said that he also has off-spin options in the form of middle-order batsman Travis Head.
He said, “Travis Head also bowls very good off-spin. We have a balance of things. We have quite a variety to choose from. We haven’t decided the bowling line yet.
There is a lot of talk about spin bowling but Cummins said that his team cannot forget their dangerous pace attack.
