The Australian cricket team is going to tour Pakistan in March. But there is a lot of fear among the players of the Australian team even before this tour. The reason is that once players were attacked in Pakistan, since then every country is afraid to play against them. Now an Australian player has expressed great concern before the Pakistan tour.
This player got scared before the Pakistan tour
Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood said on Wednesday that he would not be surprised if some of his national teammates pull out of the upcoming series against Pakistan due to security reasons, as players do so for security reasons, and the Australian team should be spared.
This series with Pakistan is scheduled
to play three Tests, three ODIs, and one T20 International in March, Australia’s first tour of Pakistan since 1998.
Big worry even before the tour
While the veteran pacer is confident that stringent security measures will be put in place to ensure the tour goes ahead safely, he said the decision to travel will be left to individuals.
Hazlewood says, “Many things exist and CA and ACA have done a lot of work for this period.”
Players can withdraw their names
Hazlewood said,
There is a lot of confidence in the players, but there are some concerns among the players regarding the tour of Pakistan and I would not be surprised if some players have considered this series tour because of the Australian team in fear.
Players will take a decision only after considering these with their families and after which everyone will respect them. New Zealand and England in particular canceled tours of Pakistan at the end of last year citing security. However, England later agreed to tour in 2022 for 7 T20s and three Tests.
