Australia’s Captain Pat Cummins Released Confirm his inclusion in the playing XI for the first Test against West Indies in Perth.
The Playing XI for home Test:-
There are no major surprises in the playing XI for the first home Test of the Australian summer, with Cummins confirming one change to the squad that went into the most recent Test in Sri Lanka.

Experienced fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is back in Australia’s line-up after Australia’s disappointing defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka in Galle in July, with backup spinner Mitchell Swepson returning to Australia’s squad.
Swepson took figures of 3/103 in that match, but the 29-year-old was not selected in the squad for the West Indies series as Australia reverted to their standard line-up with three fast bowlers and a solitary spinner.
Retains his Position at the top of Australia’s batting order:-
Veteran openers David Warner and Usman Khawaja have retained their places at the top of Australia’s batting order, with left-arm Marcus Harris missing out on selection despite being recalled to the squad for the series.
The series against the West Indies is crucial to Australia’s hopes of qualifying for next year’s World Test Championship final, with Cummins’ team currently sitting at the top of the standings ahead of a busy upcoming schedule.
Following the series against the West Indies, Australia hosted South Africa for three Tests at the end of the year before starting a four-Test series in India that could decide their World Test Championship fate.
