AUSW Beat WIW: Australia entered the final for the 7th time in the Women’s World Cup, the first of the ICC Women’s World Cup. The semi-final match was played between Australia and West Indies women’s team on 30 March.

AUSW Beat WIW: The first semi-final played in Wellington on Wednesday got delayed due to rain. The match was reduced to 45 overs due to rain.
Batting first, Australia scored a mammoth score of 305 runs in 45 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
A Good Start For Australia:-
AUSW Beat WIW: Australia started well and the first wicket fell for 216 runs. Healy was dismissed for 129 runs off 107 balls. After his dismissal, Haynes also returned to the pavilion on a score of 231.
Haynes scored 85 runs in 100 balls. After this, Captain Lenning played 26 and Mooney scored 43 runs in 31 balls to take the team’s score beyond 300. Henry took two and Connell took one for West Indies.
Apart from these two, none of the bowlers got success. The economy of three bowlers, including captain Taylor, has been close to 10.
West Indies Off To a Bad Start:-
AUSW Beat WIW: West Indies got off to a bad start. The first wicket fell for 12 runs. Williams returned to the pavilion without opening an account. West Indies’ second wicket fell by 44 runs.
Dottin was dismissed after scoring 44 runs. After his dismissal, captain Taylor tried to handle the innings. She was dismissed for 48 runs off 75 balls.
After his dismissal, none of the batsmen could survive. The entire West Indies team could only score 148 runs in 37 overs. Johnson took 2 wickets for Australia.
