Moore was born in Harare. The 32-year-old player has represented Zimbabwe in international cricket before Ireland.

Peter Moore was dismissed by Taijul Islam on the very first day of this match. He handed over a simple catch to Tamim Iqbal standing in the mid-off position.

Taijul Islam had earlier dismissed Peter Moore in 2018. At that time the Zimbabwe team went on a tour of Bangladesh. Then Taijul Islam dismissed Moore for a golden duck.
