Bangladesh has announced their replacement for injured Captain Nurul Hasan and decided who will lead the side for the crucial T20I series decider against Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
Mahmudullah to three-match T20I of Zimbabwe tour:-
The 36-year-old all-rounder Mahmudullah was initially rested for the three-match T20I component of the Zimbabwe tour but Bangladesh has decided to turn to the veteran with the series in Harare.

Mahmudullah has recalled the side and could also win a place in Bangladesh’s XI for the third match of the series, with fellow all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain named as the captain of the team in Nurul’s absence.
Took Over as Bangladesh’s T20I captain:-
Nurul – who took over as Bangladesh’s T20I captain only from Mahmudullah before the series – injured his left index finger during Bangladesh’s seven-wicket win over Zimbabwe and is likely to be sidelined for three weeks.
That means Bangladesh will turn to Mosaddek for the series decider. The 26-year-old entering the match in the second match on Sunday with career-best figures of 5/20.
Still to captain my country at the international level:-
While Mossadek is yet to captain his country at the international level. He has experience as a captain in domestic cricket in the Bangladesh Premier League.
Mosaddek formerly captained Sylhet Thunder in Bangladesh’s domestic 20-over competition and led Bangladesh A in the first two matches.

Bangladesh is looking for their first T20I series win this year. Their most recent series win coming back at home against New Zealand in September last year.
