Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan will join the DPL to prepare for the Sri Lanka series, after which he has been cleared to play for Legends, who are second on the table with 16 points from 11 matches.
The Upcoming home series Against Sri Lanka:-
Shakib Al Hasan joined the Legends of Rupganj for the remainder of the Dhaka Premier League, the country’s traditional club-based tournament, in preparation for the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka.

Legends president Lutfur Rahman Badal on Tuesday backed Cricbuzz that speculations about his availability for the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka starting May 15 have also ended.
The Club failed to reach the Super Six:-
Shakib initially signed for the traditional Mohammedan Sporting club but failed to reach the Super Six after the end of the group stage.
“He will be available from our next game. It’s not because of our league standings (that I’m picking him), but I have a relationship with him and he wanted to play (to get some match practice) because he has some ( international)) matches are on the line,” Badal said.
No Competition cricket is Played in the ODI series:-
Shakib has not played any competition cricket since the ODI series against South Africa.
A family emergency forced him to return home early. The preparation camp for the home series will start on May 8.

Meanwhile, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehdi Hasan joined the Sheikh Jamal Dhanmandi club in the Super League after they were released by MSC as they could not feature in the group stage due to international commitments.
