BCCI AGM: The 36th BCCI President’s Meeting Ends in Mumbai. The BCCI AGM was held at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai.

President Roger Binny officially named BCCI President:-

During this, the President of Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Roger Binny was officially named the BCCI President.

The last date for nominations for the ICC is till Thursday. The general consensus in BCCI is that this time the Indian board will not forward anyone’s name.

A source told The Telegraph, “A change can be considered only when someone from the BJP high command decides to step in. Otherwise, it is almost final that no one is being considered.”

The Finalization of Women’s IPL:-

• Replacement in Indian Cricketers’ Association for Anshuman Gaekwad and Shantha Rangaswamy.
• The new ICA representatives will be on the BCCI Apex Council.
• Who will represent BCCI in ICC meetings? A decision can be taken on this.
• Jay Shah is the prime candidate. But N Srinivasan is still eligible, that will be discussed.

• The members will also discuss whether the BCCI will nominate a candidate for the ICC President or allow Greg Barkley to continue.
• Sports Minister Anurag Thakur and former BCCI President N Srinivasan are two names that are in the news.
• The BCCI is set to remove Sourav Ganguly for the role.
• A new IPL governing council will be formed. After that they will hold their meeting.
• BCCI Elections: All the nominated candidates are set to be elected unopposed.

The last date for nominations for the top ICC post is October 20. The ICC Board will meet in Melbourne from November 11 to 13.

The name of this former captain is considered or not:-

There was a lot of discussions not only in sports but also in political circles about Ganguly’s departure from BCCI and now it will be interesting to see whether this former captain’s name is considered for the top post of ICC or not.

Dhumal will chair the meeting of the newly constituted IPL Governing Council after the BCCI AGM on Tuesday. In this, the date of the IPL auction will be decided.

There will also be a discussion about the first women’s IPL, which the board wants to organize in March before the IPL.
