A BCCI source has also said that no Zonal Selection Committee will select the players for the Duleep Trophy. From now on, only the National Selection Committee will select the teams for the Duleep Trophy.
In this, all the contenders for the Test team will be selected. However, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rohit Sharma have been given exemptions in this.
