Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI):-

Reportedly the world’s biggest T20 league will be played in Saudi. But the Board of Control for Cricket in India ie BCCI will not release any of its players.

Earlier, the Saudi Arabian government had held talks with the owners of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023).

According to Australian media reports, the Indian board and Indian Premier League franchises will join a league that is allegedly being organized by the Saudi Arabian government.

The BCCI Releases Players for foreign leagues:-

Which it is further stated that BCCI will reportedly change its policy of releasing players for foreign leagues.

A BCCI source told Cricbuzz, “There is no question of releasing the Indian players. In fact, the very premise of the question is wrong. There is a policy and we will stick to it.”

And according to Australian media reports, the Gulf country has already held discussions with IPL franchises.

However, according to six out of ten IPL team owners Cricbuzz spoke to, they were unaware of the offer from the oil-rich Gulf country.

The owners of IPL cannot fully and openly disclose all the information as it is a commercial initiative.

But a BCCI source has denied Indian players playing in such a league.
