IPL 2024: Before the IPL 2024 auction, MI bowling coach Shane Bond left the franchise. Ahead of the IPL 2024 auction, Mumbai Indians have announced that their bowling coach is leaving the franchise after 9 years.
The Coach Led MI To 4 IPL Trophies During His Tenure:-
Bond, considered one of the best bowlers of his time, led MI to 4 IPL trophies during his tenure as bowling coach.

Apart from the IPL, Bond also led MI Emirates to glory in the inaugural edition of the ILT20 (International League T20) as head coach earlier this year.
The Bond Thanked MI Owners And Their Fans:-
Before parting ways with the Mumbai Indians franchise, Bond thanked the MI owners and their fans, saying, “I would like to thank the Ambani family for the opportunity to be a part of the MI One family for the last nine seasons.
It has been an incredible experience with so many great memories on and off the field. I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with and build strong relationships with so many great people, both players and staff.

Mumbai Indians released a statement to announce the news of his departure, reading, “The team management, players, and staff would like to thank Shane Bond for his strong work ethic and for being a friend to all who work at the One Have been part of the family.”

Bond handled assignments as the team’s bowling coach in 2015 and became one of the most prestigious and renowned coaches in franchise history by being involved in MI’s title wins in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
