Why Can’t Stokes Leave?
Turns out, Stokes came to Manchester with his wife and two kids for a vacation. But now he’s stuck there due to some visa issues, even though his family is already gone.
Being stuck for three days apparently means you gotta walk! Stokes shared pictures on his Instagram showing that he’s already clocked 22.2 kilometers on foot.
Right now, Stokes is just waiting for his visa situation to get sorted. In the meantime, he’s keeping his fans updated on social media.
No T20 World Cup for Stokes
The last time we saw Stokes playing was in the Test series against India. That’s when he injured his knee and had to get surgery. It might take up to 9 months for him to recover fully.
Because of this, Stokes had to pull out of both IPL 2024 and the T20 World Cup 2024. He says he’s working hard on his fitness and will be back on the field as soon as possible.
