Women in the Game Too!

Siliguri Strikers aren’t leaving the women behind. They’ve built a strong 16-player squad for the women’s team as well.

Coaching Crew Announced

Along with the players, the Strikers also revealed their coaching staff. Former cricketer Sourashish Lahiri will be the head coach for the men’s team, with Sanjib Kumar Goyal as his assistant.

The women’s team will be guided by head coach Arpिता Ghosh, with Pamela Dhar by her side as the assistant coach.

Owner Expects Big Things

“We’re super confident about the players we’ve picked in the draft,” said Rishabh Bhatia, the owner of Siliguri Strikers. “The balance between youth and experience in both the men’s and women’s teams will definitely create a mark in the inaugural season of the Bengal Pro T20 League.

Our squads are a perfect blend of experience and energy. We aim to showcase high-quality cricket not just for Siliguri, but for all cricket fans, and we’re sure our teams will deliver!”

Star Power Already Announced

Akash Deep, the 27-year-old Indian Test player, recently rocked the IPL 2024 season with RCB. Priyanka, on the other hand, was part of the Mumbai Indians in the Women’s Premier League 2024.
