Hardik was on fire throughout the tournament, scoring a solid 144 runs in 6 matches with an average of 48, and even taking a whopping 11 wickets. But believe it or not, this is the same guy who faced harsh criticism just a few months ago!
When Hardik replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain of Mumbai Indians (MI) for IPL 2024, fans weren’t exactly thrilled. Some were upset about Rohit losing the captaincy, while others blamed Hardik for the team’s poor performance.

She shared a video clip on her Instagram story, showing the cheering crowd at Wankhede Stadium for Hardik’s World Cup performance. Her caption said it all: “Same stadium, same guy, same people. Just a different time.”

Hardik himself revealed the challenges of the past 6 months during a conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He spoke about the constant trolling and personal struggles he faced. This was also the time when rumors about his divorce with Natasa Stanković were swirling (there’s still no confirmation on that front).
