Bhuvneshwar Kumar is On The verge of making a New Record in T20 Internationals

India’s star fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is on the verge of making a new record in T20 Internationals. The 32-year-old cricketer from Meerut, who made his debut for India against Pakistan in 2012, has featured in 62 T20I matches so far.

3rd highest wicket-taker:-

In which he has taken 64 wickets. He is the third-highest wicket-taker for India in the shortest format of the game. Only Yuzvendra Chahal (72 wickets in 57 matches) and Jasprit Bumrah (67 wickets in 57 matches) have more names than leading fast bowlers.

In the ongoing T20I series against South Africa, he is leading the Indian attack and has bowled exceptionally well. In the second T20I played in Cuttack, he dismissed four South African batsmen and conceded only 13 runs.

Then in the third game too, he took one wicket for 21 runs in his quota of four overs. Overall, in the five-match series, he sits at the number one spot in the list of highest wicket-takers and has six wickets to his name in three matches. Apart from taking wickets, Bhuvi did not give too many runs.

And in the fourth match, he would like to achieve a big milestone in T20I cricket. The right-arm pacer has taken 33 wickets in the powerplay overs in his career so far.

If he manages to pick up a wicket today, he will become the highest wicket-taker in the powerplay overs in T20I matches.
