‘Both Are Mentally Strong’, Team India’s Bowling Coach Discussed Virat-Shami, Said This. Heads up cricket fans! Team India’s bowling coach, Paras Mhambre, just dropped some serious knowledge about Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami.
Mhambre believes that even though Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami are totally different personalities, they share one key strength: rock-solid mental fortitude!

This mental toughness is what makes them such successful players for Team India.
Remember the World Cup last year? Both Kohli (smashing 765 runs with a mind-blowing average of 95.62) and Shami (picking up 24 wickets with a killer average of 10.70) were instrumental in India reaching the finals.
Mhambre says, “Virat is all about aggression. You can see his passion burning bright on the field.”
He adds, “Virat is one of the best chasers out there. Chasing targets in limited-overs cricket used to be a struggle, but the recent record shows a huge improvement. India’s been chasing down massive totals, and a big reason for that is Virat himself.”
Talking about Shami, Mhambre says, “Shami might be quiet, but he understands every aspect of his game. He knows what’s expected of him.”
He continues, “I’ve worked closely with Shami recently. He trains differently, in a way that works best for him. He knows his body really well.”

It’s clear that Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami, in their own unique ways, are invaluable assets for Team India.
