Cameron Green: Australia all-rounder ready for third Test against India. Australia’s Cameron Green has declared himself “100% ready” for the third Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test to be played in Indore.

Cameron had a broken finger while batting during the Test:-

Green had broken a finger while batting during the Boxing Day Test against South Africa last year.

The Western Australia player was very close to playing the second Test in Delhi but eventually decided against it.

Green further explained, “I was very close to the last match, but I think maybe having an extra week has helped a lot, I’m 100% ready to go.”

It Jerked My Bat:-

He said, ‘There are a few instances in the nets where I go for the sweep and it hits the tip of my bat.

“We probably thought we’d be sacrificing a game and clearly the year we’ve got, it’s probably the right call.”

Green’s return to the setup is a huge relief from an Australian side, which is already battling injuries and departures.

Cummins is also in a family emergency:-

David Warner, Ashton Agar, and Josh Hazlewood have already left, while skipper Pat Cummins is also in Australia to attend to a family emergency.

Cummins will not be able to play in the third Test to be held in Indore and Steve Smith will take over the captaincy.

In Green, Australia will enjoy an additional fast bowling option. The all-rounder has 806 Test runs at an average of 35.04 and six half-centuries to his name. He has also taken 23 wickets at an average of 29.78, including one five-wicket haul.

The third game between India and Australia is set to begin on March 1, with India leading the four-match series 2-0.
