Cameron Green Replaces Injured Josh Inglis in Australia T20 World Cup 2022, Australia was forced to reshuffle their squad just days before their first match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
Josh Inglis was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury:-
As back-up wicketkeeper Josh Inglis was ruled out of the tournament with an injury, Inglis injured his hand while playing golf in Sydney on Wednesday.

The reigning T20 World Cup champions have decided not to take any risks with the 27-year-old and dropped him from their 15-player squad.
Inglis’ loss opened the door for Cameron Green to continue his recent growth in international cricket.
Australia’s T20I series in India:-
The 23-year-old joined the team after impressing at the top of the order during Australia’s T20I series in India last month.
Green struck two half-centuries for Australia when replacing veteran opener David Warner at the top of the order and the tournament’s hosts may use the right-handed batsman in a similar role in the T20 World Cup.
While Inglis is a capable batsman, his primary role in the Australia team was as a backup wicketkeeper to Matthew Wade and he could not play during the tournament unless Wade suffered an injury.
Warner held the first wicket for Australia at the Test level:-
With the 35-year-old filling in for regular keeper Brad Haddin during a Test match against Pakistan in 2014, Warner held the first wicket for Australia at the Test level.
Australia’s first match in the T20 World Cup is against trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday night.
