Captain Rohit Sharma got injured during practice before the semi-finals. Injury to the wrist during practice against England. The bad news is coming from the Indian nets in Adelaide.

Rohit had to Go Out Of Practice for a while:-

The severity of the injury is not known but he was seen wearing an ice pack. Due to this, he had to go out of practice for some time.

However, he was once again seen returning to the field. At the same time, the first thing the Indian captain did after reaching the field was to check the wicket.

The Men in Blue (Team India) reached Adelaide on Monday and rested for the whole day. The Indian team will face England (IND vs ENG) on Thursday at 1:30 pm IST.

It is expected that the final will be played between India and Pakistan. After the win over Zimbabwe on Sunday, Rohit Sharma and Team India reached the city on Monday.

India has already played in this T20 World Cup at the Adelaide Oval and won a massive victory over Bangladesh.

The Indian team won the rain-affected match by five runs last week. As for England, Buttler’s team has not played in the Super 12 stage at this venue and plays for India.

The focus will be on Rohit as he is looking to overcome the fall of a form. The Indian captain has scored 89 runs in five matches which has been disappointing for the hit-man.

Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik will also be keen to impress as they vie for a place in the team. Pant played in the game against Zimbabwe but has failed to impress.

This means India is back to square one with their wicket-keeping problem. Karthik failed to count his chances in the earlier games and Pant could have been retained.
