The Failed after losing his fourth T20I of the year:-

India’s batsmen failed after losing their fourth T20I of the year on Monday to beat the West Indies by five wickets, inspired by Obed McCoy in St Kitts.

Rohit was one of McCoy’s six victims in the match, with the West Indies pacer helping the tourists to just 138 runs in the final over through India’s star-studded batting line-up.

The India captain decided to give inexperienced pacer Avesh Khan a chance to be the hero when he bowled the 25-year-old for the final over.

But the decision was reversed when the right hand overstepped on the first ball. A free hit and then 10 runs off the next two balls.

Rohit admitted that he could have easily turned to veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar for the final over.

But he said he will continue to give fringe players a chance to showcase their performances in the lead-up to the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year.
