Carlos Brathwaite turns Covid positive during flight the UK

Carlos Brathwaite was forced into isolation and is in doubt for the Jamaica Tallawahs’ Caribbean Premier League opening match on Friday after Carlos Brathwaite tested positive for COVID-19 during his flight to the UK.

Carlos Brathwaite travels from Manchester to Basseterre

After captaining the Hundred at the Manchester Originals, Carlos Brathwaite traveled from Manchester to Basseterre before the CPL. A fellow passenger tested positive for Covid-19 and was asked to isolate till further notice.

“As far as I know, my tests have been negative,” Carlos Brathwaite said. “We’ve been asked to be in quarantine. I still don’t know the full extent of it. I’ve just been told that I need to continue the quarantine as opposed to consenting to walk around the hotel, so I’m black.”

Brathwaite said runs from the top order would be crucial for the Tallawahs considering the quality of all-rounders and spin bowling.
