Along with this, the Test match played against the visiting team in Delhi is also special for Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara. Because this Test match will be the 100th Test of his career for Pujara.

The Played first-class cricket at the age of just 8:-

Playing 100 Test matches for the country would indeed be a big achievement for any player. It requires a lot of dedication and discipline, a lot of fitness.

All these things were also present in Pujara due to which he will play his 100th Test. Pujara played first-class cricket for Saurashtra at the age of just 8.

At the same time, 35-year-old Pujara is not worried about his age and fitness at all, but at present he is focused on playing.

And according to his father Arvind Pujara, he is proud of his son’s achievements. Cheteshwar Pujara’s father had recognized a cricketer in him from a very young age.

After which Arvind himself started coaching his son. He took his son to Mumbai where he consulted former Indian cricketer and now coach Karsan Ghavri on whether he should devote more time to making his son a cricketer.

Cheteshwar benefited from hard work and discipline:-

During that Ghavri replied in yes. Then what was Pujara Pujara started preparing for his cricket on the ground of the Railway Colony.

Cheteshwar Pujara’s father Arvind, who played 6 first-class matches for Saurashtra, said in one of his interviews that, when he started coaching Cheteshwar, there was no target in mind at that time.

In fact, we didn’t even think about anything. But he was hard working and very disciplined right from the beginning which paid off.

Pujara was spiritual from childhood:-

Cheteshwar Pujara was of spiritual nature since childhood which helped him to become a rock player. His father told that, his wife’s Guruji Harcharan Das took great care of her.

Even his aunt used to prepare food for the yoga guru and stayed in the ashram, she also took care of my son.

With this, Pujara will become the 13th player from India to play 100 Tests. He made his Test debut against Australia in 2010 and worked hard to be a part of the team in the longer format.
