CSA T20 League: Mini IPL to be held in South Africa, team is being made by six IPL franchises
CSA T20 League: A new T20 league is starting next year in South Africa. Cricket South Africa can organize it at the beginning of the year itself. The owners of IPL teams have also shown great interest in this league. After this it is believed that this league can become a mini IPL.
Though it is difficult to imagine a league like IPL without Indian players, but the team owners will be the same as the ones in IPL. Also foreign players will also play in this league.

The auction of franchises in this league closed on Wednesday 13th July and it is believed that IPL teams have invested heavily in this league.
According to the sports website, the Ambani family of Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings’ N. Srinivasan, Parth Jindal of Delhi Capitals, Maran family of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Sanjeev Goenka of Lucknow Super Giants and Manoj Badale of Rajasthan Royals have bought six franchises in this league. The league is scheduled to be held early next year.
CSA T20 League: Website confirmed:-
Although the South Africa Cricket Board has been maintaining that the selection of the franchise will be announced at the end of the month, the website confirmed that the owners of the IPL team have been informed that they have received the franchise in the bid. They also asked about their choice of cities.
Mumbai team will be in Cape Town :-
Mumbai Indians are ready to form their team in Cape Town. MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings is likely to given a franchise based in Johannesburg, while the Delhi team will be based at Centurion in Pretoria and called Pretoria Capitals.
MI and CSK made the biggest bid of Rs 250 crore :-
MI and CSK made the highest bid, which was around Rs 250 crore. As per the IPL model, each franchise will have to pay 10 per cent of the franchise fee for 10 years.
Want to buy Sanjeev Goenka Durban Franchisee :-
Sanjeev Goenka, who acquired the Lucknow franchise of IPL last year, is believed to be looking to buy the Durban franchise. Sunrisers Hyderabad team may be in Port Elizabeth, while Royals will have to build their team in Paarl.
CSA T20 League: This T20 league will be organized in the month of January :-
This T20 league will organized in the month of January and during this time another league will be organized in UAE. England’s main T20 players, including captain Jos Buttler and all-rounder Liam Livingstone, are believe to be keen to play in the CSA league.
Moeen Ali has agreed to play in the UAE League. Faf du Plessis will stay in South Africa. Dwayne Bravo can also play for the team of Chennai franchise here.
