CSK 2023: Case registered for irregularities in ticket sales. Following the controversies related to black market sale for CSK’s home matches, the matter has been placed before the Civil Court of Chennai city.

Filed a case against the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association

A Chennai-based lawyer on Wednesday filed a case against the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) team Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the BCCI, and the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association for irregularities in the sale of tickets.

Advocate, Ashok Chakraborty posted on Facebook, wrote, “Today I brought to the notice of irregularities in the sale of tickets on Chennai Super Kings, BCCI and TNCA black ticket market and suspicious online ticket sales in the ongoing IPL tournament at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai Case has been registered for.

The Came under scrutiny from different parts of the country:-

CSK and its management have come under scrutiny from within the city. And from various parts of the country due to the non-availability of tickets both online and after-counter sales.

Lower-stand tickets, which usually cost around Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000, were reportedly sold for Rs 8,000.

Ticket prices have skyrocketed as there are rumors that it will be CSK skipper M.S. Dhoni’s last IPL.

The post further read, “During the matter. A temporary ban on the sale of tickets for the playoffs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium will also be discussing.”

Earlier, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan had revealed. That the franchise is entitled to provide 20% tickets to the Board of Control for Cricket in India and the TNCA. Besides giving 13,000 tickets out of 36,000 tickets available to TNCA division clubs.
