Headache for Mahendra Singh Dhoni:-
The first competition will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium from 7:30 PM. This competition could turn out to be a headache for Chennai Super Kings’ playing 11 captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

In the first competition, CSK will miss three players. Moeen Ali, Deepak Chahar, and Dwayne Pretorius have all been ruled out of the first game for different reasons.
CSK vs KKR: Moeen Ali is yet to get his visa. In such a situation, there is every possibility that he will not be able to play the first match of IPL. While Deepak Chahar is yet to recover from his injury.
Dwayne Pretorius will be available only after South Africa’s ODI series against Bangladesh. In such a situation, he too will not be able to play in the first competition. All players will also have to complete a three-day quarantine.
