Adam Milne got injuring while playing the first match of IPL (CSK vs KKR). The New Zealand bowler was to be ruling out of the tournament due to a hamstring injury.

As a replacement for this player, CSK has included 19-year-old Sri Lankan player Mathisha Pathirana in their team.
