David Warner Reveals Delhi’s Defeat in DC vs SRH Match

IPL 2023: David Warner reveals Delhi’s defeat in DC vs SRH match. Sunrisers Hyderabad restricted Delhi’s innings to 188 for six after scoring 197 for six here on Saturday.

Lost his rhythm due to the continuous loss of wickets in the over:-

After suffering a nine-run defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Delhi Capitals (DC) captain David Warner said that his team lost its rhythm due to frequent wickets in the middle overs.

Warner told the broadcasters after the match, “It is a good pitch and it is difficult to digest the defeat by nine runs. We were a little short of the target. We didn’t do well with the ball but Mitchell Marsh bowled brilliantly.

Warner said, “When your two batsmen are batting well, it is important to maintain that rhythm.

It is also necessary that one of them carries the innings till the end. If we had done that, the match would have been in our hands.

He said, “When you keep losing wickets in the middle overs and are unable to build partnerships, then things become difficult.”

He defended the decision to send the in-form Akshar Patel to the seventh position, saying, “He is in good form.

But for us, it is about a good start and he is doing well in the last over.

The 40th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) was played on Saturday. In this match, there was a clash between Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (DC vs SRH).

The match was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Whereas David Warner and Aiden Markram landed on the ground as captains.
