DC vs PBKS: DC’s game against PBKS shifted from Pune to Mumbai after the outbreak of Covid.
DC vs PBKS: Mumbai, Apr 19 (PTI) The IPL match between the Covid-hit Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings was shifted from Pune to Mumbai on Tuesday following the virus outbreak in the Rishabh Pant-led side.

In a statement on Tuesday, the BCCI said that it has shifted the game to the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai to ensure that there is no COVID infection in the bio-bubble.
Five members of the Delhi Capitals, including a player from Mitchell Marsh, have tested positive.
Physio Patrick Farhart sports massage therapist Chetan Kumar, team doctor Abhijit Salvi, and social media content team member Akash Mane are among others suffering from the virus.
“The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Tuesday released the venue change for match number 32 – Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings from MCA Stadium, Pune to Brabourne – CCI scheduled to take place on April 20, 2022, to avoid any eventuality.
A known subject during long-distance bus travel in a closed environment,” the BCCI said in a statement.
Delhi Capitals will get permission to play the match only after the RTPCR test on Wednesday morning. All other players and support staff tested negative on Tuesday.
“COVID positive cases are on standby and under medical surveillance. They will be tested on days 6 and 7 and will be re-integrated into the Delhi Capitals Bio-Secure bubble subject to both tests being negative.
“Since April 16, the entire Delhi Capitals contingent has been put under a daily RT-PCR testing process. The fourth round of RT-PCR tests conducted on April 19 has come back negative.
“The Delhi Capitals contingent will undergo another round of RT-PCR testing on the morning of April 20,” the BCCI said.
Delhi Capitals’ opponents Punjab Kings were to travel to Pune on Tuesday but were asked to stay back in Mumbai.
DC vs PBKS: “We were supposed to travel to Pune, but we have been asked to stay back in Mumbai,” a Punjab team official told PTI.
The virus threatened to derail the IPL again on Monday after Marsh tested positive. He had two RT-PCR tests.
In which the first came negative, but later the test came positive. Marsh did this after complaining of a sore throat and mild fever.
The Australian all-rounder is understood to have shown some symptoms and a rapid antigen test was done which came back positive.
This could be due to the fact that he was undergoing rehab under physio Farhart, who tested positive last week.

DC vs PBKS: With COVID cases increasing outside the IPL bio-bubble, the risk of the virus inside a controlled environment has also increased.
Last season, the tournament had to be postponed midway due to a second wave. It was restarted in the UAE and completed in September-October.
