Ashwin Praised Chennai Super Kings Captain MS Dhoni:-
Even before this, Rajasthan Royals star off-spinner R Ashwin has praised Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni. Ashwin said that Dhoni has given me two, and for that I will be indebted to him throughout my life.

In fact, on Saturday, R Ashwin was honored by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) for his double achievement of 500 wickets and 100 Tests.
Also, a felicitation ceremony was organized to celebrate this. During this, Ashwin remembered the 2011 IPL final.
Dhoni Had Handed The New Ball To Ashwin:-
In the 2011 IPL final, Royal Challengers Bangalore faced Chennai Super Kings. Expressing confidence in star off-spinner R Ashwin, Mahendra Singh Dhoni handed over the new ball, which gave a new direction to his career. Ashwin feels indebted to the former Indian captain for this.
During the felicitation ceremony, Ashwin said, I will be indebted to Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the rest of my life for what he gave me. He gave me an opportunity with the new ball while Chris Gayle was in front and after 17 years Anil Bhai will talk about this incident.
Ashwin’s Career Changed After That Final:-
That magical night in Chepauk for Chennai Super Kings was just the beginning for Ashwin. Ashwin had taken three wickets that day. Gayle was sent to the pavilion on zero.
Since then, in a decade of ups and downs, he has played 100 Test matches and taken 516 wickets in the traditional format of the game. TNCA honored Ashwin with an award of Rs 1 crore for his achievements.
