Here’s What Kaif Claims:–

  • Rohit and Dravid kept checking the pitch for 3 days before the finals.
  • The pitch apparently changed color!
  • They barely watered it and left it almost grassless. Sounds like they wanted a slow pitch to make batting tough for Aussies.

Mohammad Even Said:-

“Cummins (Aussie captain) learned from the Chennai match that batting first is hard on a slow pitch. That’s why he chose to field first in the finals. We, on the other hand, were busy tampering!”
