ODI World Cup 2023: Did Rohit and Dravid tamper with the pitch? Remember the crazy 2023 World Cup? India crushed everyone in the group stages and were favorites to win against Australia in the finals. But then… WHAM! Australia thrashed us by 6 wickets.

Now, there’s a juicy twist! Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif is accusing captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid of tampering with the pitch!

Here’s What Kaif Claims:–

• Rohit and Dravid kept checking the pitch for 3 days before the finals.
• The pitch apparently changed color!
• They barely watered it and left it almost grassless. Sounds like they wanted a slow pitch to make batting tough for Aussies.

Mohammad Even Said:-

“Cummins (Aussie captain) learned from the Chennai match that batting first is hard on a slow pitch. That’s why he chose to field first in the finals. We, on the other hand, were busy tampering!”

Whoa! Is this a conspiracy theory or is there fire behind the smoke?

We’ll need an investigation to know for sure. But if true, this is a HUGE black mark on Indian cricket.
