ENG vs SA, 2nd T20: South Africa beat England by 58 runs in the second match of the three-match T20I series. With this win, South Africa leveled the series 1-1. England won the first match by 41 runs.
ENG vs SA: South Africa made a strong comeback in the second match :-
South Africa made a strong comeback in the second match. Batting first, South Africa set a mammoth target of 208 runs in front of England in 20 overs, thanks to the strong innings of Riley Rossouw and Reeza Hendrix.
In response, Englandโs team, which scored 234 in the first match, could not even play the entire over in the second match and was reduced to 149 runs in 16.4 overs.
The team disintegrated as soon as Captain Buttler was dismissed:-
Chasing the big target of 208 runs, England got off to a good start. The team had scored 37 runs in 3.3 overs. But after the dismissal of Captain Butler in the fourth over, the England team could not recover and kept losing their wickets at frequent intervals.
Buttler was dismissed for 29 runs in 14 balls. Malan could only score 5 runs in 4 balls. Jason Roy was once again a flop. He scored 20 runs in 22 balls. Moeen Ali, who played a quick innings in the last match, could not show much and returned to the pavilion after scoring 28 runs in 17 balls.
Jonny Bairstow scored 30 runs in 21 balls. Livingstone dismissed for 18 runs in 10 balls. For South Africa, Tabraiz Shamsi, Andile Phehlukwayo took 3-3 wickets. Lungi Ngidi 2, Rabada 1 and Maharaj got 1 wicket.
ENG vs SA: Rossouw and Reeza Hendrics made half-century partnership :-
Earlier, after losing the toss and opting to bat first, the South African team also started well. The first wicket fell on the score of 39. De Kock dismissed after scoring 15 runs in 11 balls.
However, after that Rilee Rossouw and Reeza Hendricks took over the innings and helped the team reach a strong score with a smashing half-century partnership for the second wicket.
Meanwhile, Riza dismissed for 53 runs in 32 balls. But Rossouw held the other end and continued to play big shots. He returned unbeaten on 96 off 55 balls. He hit 5 sixes and 10 fours in his innings.
ENG vs SA:The third and deciding match will be played on Sunday :-
Klaasen scored 19 runs in 10 balls. Stubbs, who played a brilliant innings in the last match, scored 15 runs in 12 balls. Moeen Ali, Richard Gleason and Chris Jordan got 1-1 wickets for England. The third and deciding match between these two will be played on Sunday.
